Daria Tchapanova is a visual artist and social researcher, based in Vienna, Austria.

I explore social and physical spaces through a range of media and methods, including site-specific interventions, installations, video, photography and collage. I work and exhibit in different places which inspires me to think about artistic movement as a work of art.

In the recent years I have focused on artistic documentation, my interest lies in different modes of representation and translation of context within various social and political spaces. My works are usually inspired by interdisciplinary collaborations focussing on artists and different artistic environments as well as a self-determined way of expression.
